Boston, MA (PRWEB) March 21, 2008 -- Rick Ralston has been named Chief Operating Officer of the Isobar Worldwide Search Team, reporting to Fredrick Marckini the Global Chief Search Officer. In this new position as COO, Mr. Ralston?s key areas of concentration for this role will be: financial performance analysis, accountability of results, acquisition strategies, market development, team development and the further advancement of the iProspect University training throughout the Isobar network. Mr. Ralston will focus on the execution of strategies to ensure that the Isobar worldwide search marketing agencies are the leader in every major broadband market by leveraging best practices and creating efficiencies and consistency across local agencies, countries and regions.

"Our goal is to turn iProspect into the largest global search agency in the world. We are well on our way with an iProspect office in over 15 markets with a plan to add significantly more in 2008," said Ralph Folz, Global Chief Operating Officer of Isobar. "With this growth, the need for operational infrastructure grows in importance as the team?s role and reach expands."

"Our global search initiative is moving forward with a lot of speed and momentum," said Fredrick Marckini, Global Chief Search Officer of Isobar. "The extraordinary growth of our search business required a new level of process, financial accountability and operational rigor. It was time to build-out the team. Adding the Chief Operating Officer role, and recruiting Rick Ralston to fill it, was the obvious choice."

Nigel Morris, CEO of Isobar added, "This expansion of the global search team signals our commitment to search as a vertical discipline and our vision that search engine marketing is elemental to marketing campaigns, not just digital campaigns."

Most recently Mr. Ralston has served as a board member, advisor and held key interim leadership positions with several technology and Internet companies. Mr. Ralston first worked with iProspect in 1998 as a client while President of BottomDollar.com, ?The Shopping Search Engine?. BottomDollar was one of the original price comparison search engines, and was founded in 1997. While at BottomDollar, he led the $50 million acquisition by the publicly traded firm Network Commerce based in Seattle, WA, U.S.

Prior to BottomDollar, Mr. Ralston was the Managing Director of IT Operations for Koch Industries, Inc. He was responsible for an IT team of over 250 professionals, was a member of Koch IT Board and managed staff in London, Singapore, Calgary, and Rotterdam as well as across the U.S.

"Securing Rick Ralston as the Global Search Team?s Chief Operating Officer is a ?coup? for us, for so many different reasons," according to Fredrick Marckini. "First, as a former member of the iProspect Advisory Board, Rick has a unique understanding of the search marketing services firm business model as well as the iProspect brand. Next, his industry experience as a search engine executive from the earliest days of the Internet make him uniquely qualified to spear-head a digital initiative, while his experience at Koch Industries running a global team ensures that he hits the ground running and is prepared for the challenges of our worldwide initiative.

Marckini continued, "Finally, Rick?s ability to grow an organization, create process, measurement and accountability is second to none. I am very excited to bring Rick on-board and have the benefit of his guidance and skill as we undertake a worldwide roll-out of the iProspect brand."
